Michelle Woodruff, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Michelle is currently only accepting new patients for Manual Lymph Drainage.
Michelle has recently completed all levels of Dr Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage.
Lymphatic massage stimulates lymph flow and drains the affected tissue of excess water and protein. This can help people with lymphedema, traumatic injuries, headaches, pregnancy, skin conditions, arthralgias, insomnia and to reduce swelling associated with surgeries including lymph node removal. It is an extremely light skin stretching technique which stimulates lymphatic system flow and is deeply relaxing.
Lymphatic drainage can increase the blood volume by up to 10%. Organ diseases such as CCHF, COPD, kidney and liver disease are not compatible with lymphatic drainage. If you have a history of organ dysfunction, untreated DVT or an active infection please contact the clinic before booking.
Michelle graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2013 after 5 years previously working as a Bodyworker all over the world. She combines myofascial release, neuromuscular technique, Swedish massage and trigger point therapy along with breath coaching to suit the needs of the client. Michelle has experience treating a range of issues including migraines and neck pain, low back pain, repetitive strain issues, postural issues and post operative scars.
In Michelles free time she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, sailing and playing with her four legged friends.
