CAMPT-Certified physiotherapists are Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) that have advanced training and clinical abilities in manual and manipulative therapy, and have completed post-graduate education and attained internationally-recognized qualifications in hands-on therapy.

FCAMPT physiotherapists undergo extensive training following graduation from their entry-level physiotherapy programs in the area of orthopaedics and hands-on therapy. This research-based training helps our patients get better, recover faster and stay healthier to return to pain-free living.

CAMPT-Certified Difference

Orthopeadics involves a complex understanding of multiple systems including how those systems work independently and collectively as a group. The precision required to identifying and correct the problem within a system is improved with the application of highly skilled hands-on assessment and treatment, which FCAMPT physiotherapists can provide as a result of their advance training.

FCAMPT training and qualifications include:

  • Entry-level Master’s degree from one of 14 accredited universities in Canada;
  • Extensive, internationally recognized post-graduate education focused on the diagnosis and treatment of complicated muscle and joint problems;
  • Registered physiotherapists licensed with their respective provincial colleges; AND
  • Members of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

By combining the principles of evidence-informed practice, evaluative skills, and clinical and professional judgment, a CAMPT-Certified physiotherapist will work closely with you and your staff to ensure that your patient’s health goals are met.

More information on the FCAMPT designation can be found on the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy website.
