The safety of our patients, staff and community are of paramount importance to us. We have implemented several changes to our policies on the recommendation of our Provincial Health Officer, professional associations, regulatory bodies, and WorkSafeBC.

Here are some of the changes you will see on your next visit to the clinic:

Health Screening:

All staff will be monitoring their health and screening for COVID-19 symptoms prior to each shift. We are asking that clients complete a health assessment prior to their visit and again upon entering the clinic.

Scheduling:

Appointments will be longer duration and staff will be on a staggered schedule to encourage physical distancing.

Hand Sanitizing:

We will ask you to wash your hands or use the provided hand sanitizer when you arrive. Hand sanitizer will be available at any time during the treatment and as you are leaving the clinic.

Face Protection:

Staff and clients are required to wear a protective face mask at all times. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide you with a complimentary one.

Clinic Traffic:

There is one point of entry to the clinic at the main reception desk and a separate exit from the gym area of the clinic.

Time of Arrival:

We ask that you arrive punctually for your appointment to avoid crowding the waiting room area. When you have been checked in for your appointment, you will be shown to a private treatment room to wait for your practitioner.

Clinic Sanitizing:

All contact surfaces in rooms will be sanitized prior to each appointment. All magazines and unnecessary furnishings have been removed from the waiting room and treatment rooms.

Gym Usage:

We are currently not allowing patients to exercise in our gym space. Exercises can be completed in the private treatment rooms.

Payment:

We would appreciate if payment can be made by contactless credit/debit card if possible. We ask patients provide their extended health plan information to our receptionist prior to their appointment over the phone.

Washroom:

The public washroom will be available primarily for hand washing and therefore we would encourage you to use the toilet in the comfort of your home prior to attending the clinic, if possible.

Cancellations:

We will have leniency in our 24-hour cancellation policy towards illness related to potential COVID-19 symptoms.

All patients will need to have completed a COVID-19 Symptom Assessment prior to their appointment. A self-assessment tool, developed with the BC ministry of health, can be completed online at the following website: https://bc.thrive.health/covid19/en

Please be prepared to provide answers to a COVID-19 health questionnaire upon arrival at the clinic. Please only attend your appointment if the results of the questionnaire indicate you are symptom-free.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation and look forward to seeing you for your visit!
